Champoussin ski resort is located in the valley of Illiez named Val d’Illiez, at 1’580 m above sea level. It is one of the 650 km of marked slopes (296 slopes: 28 black, 106 red, 127 blue and 35 green) and one of the 197 ski lift installations in the Portes du Soleil area. It is a peaceful and family-friendly place with a magnificent view of the Dents du Midi, mountains of the Valais Alps. Thanks to its southern exposure, the resort enjoys generous sunshine. Champoussin is a village combining the charm of yesteryear and the modern infrastructure of the best ski resorts.

The topography of Champoussin is characterized by a gentle elevation giving it the status of an ideal resort for beginner skiing. The resort has wide slopes for learning to ski and a Kids Club where children from 2 to 5 years old can learn to ski, either accompanied by parents or not.

For hiking enthusiasts, three marked snowshoe trails leave from the Champoussin resort: Champoussin via chez Gaby (6.3 km), Champoussin via le Poussin (6 km) and Champoussin, rapid return (4.1 km).

You will find a wide range of accommodation in Champoussin, combining hotels, chalets, guest rooms and holiday apartments. In the winter season, the resort quickly becomes fully booked and you may not find accommodation if you go about it at the last minute. Solutions exist in the surrounding villages: Val-d’Illiez is just 11 km from Champoussin and Champéry is 13.9 km away.

TPC (Transports Publics du Chablais) provides service to the village with a varied offer and the station is accessible to vehicles all year round.
